MEET THE BLOGGER
Hi, I’m Tiffany... unapologetically obsessed with books. This blog is my personal reading journal where I track the books I read, the ones I buy (maybe too often), and everything in between. Think of it as a bookish diary. If you love stories, shelves full of TBRs, and honest thoughts on all things bookish, you’re in the right place. Let’s be book friends!

April '25 Wrap Up

Hello and welcome back to another monthly wrap up! I honestly didn’t have the best reading month in April. I had one five-star read, two three-star reads and the rest were two stars or less 😦 My reading has totally slowed down and I’m thinking that the books I’m not enjoying are making me want to take a break from reading…

I am hoping that I am going to have a better reading month in May… although there are some changes coming for me this month in my job so we will see what happens! I also did a terrible job at blogging in April, I’m hoping to do better in May.

What books did you read this month?

The Last Letter by Rebecca Yarros: Say hello to my favorite read of 2025! This book absolutely wrecked me and put me back together and wrecked me again. Please, read this book. If you don’t want to read her Romantasy stories, please just read her romance. She’s a phenomenal writer. 5/5

The Sinner by Shantel Tessier: I honestly was not a huge fan of this book. It just did not do what I wanted it to do. This book was 95% smut and 5% terrible plot. 2/5

Falls Boys by Penelope Douglas: There was never a point in this book where I could tell you I knew what was going on. 1/5

Runaway Love by Melanie Harlow: This book didn’t really hit the mark for me. I think this book could have had a lot more drama and it would have made it more unputdownable. 3/5

Firebird by Juliette Cross: I enjoyed this dark romantasy book! I had a couple of qualms with it… the end was a bit too quick and easy. I also feel like that the relationship between Malina and Julian kind of just happened instead of gradually forming. 3/5

Morbidly Yours by Ivy Fairbanks: I wanted to love this book so much. It has such a good concept. Unfortunately, this book did fall flat for me. I’m kinda iffy on whether I would read more from this author in the future. 2/5

The Chase by Elle Kennedy: I think I might not be a fan of Elle Kennedy’s earlier books… I was not a fan of this one. I didn’t care for the characters or anything that happened in this story. 2/5
